The present invention relates to a preparation method of a chitosan-Ag nanocomposite, and to an antibacterial paper which is manufactured according to the preparation method and is coated with chitosan-Ag nanocomposite. The preparation method of the chitosan-Ag nanocomposite comprises the steps of: adding a silver nitrate solution to a chitosan solution; agitating the solution mixture; injecting the solution mixture to an autoclave; and making a reaction. The chitosan-Ag nanocomposite manufactured according to the preparation method of the present invention can shorten speed of Ag generation and can be manufactured in an environment-friendly way. In addition, in the present invention, process equipment and the energy required for the manufacturing process can be reduced, and thus economical manufacturing and mass production are possible. The paper which is manufactured according to the present invention and is coated with chitosan-Ag nanocomposite or chitosan-Ag nanofilm shows an excellent antibacterial property, thereby being usefully applicable as food, an agricultural product or a medical device, and a paper for wrapping medicine.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
