Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for supporting a personalized service based on a big data analysis. A personalized service supporting apparatus according to one embodiment includes: an information obtaining unit including a basic information obtaining unit obtaining basic analysis data including at least one selected from among user information, user context information, sensor information, environment information, external information, big data information and big data analysis information; an information analysis unit analyzing the basic analysis information obtained by the basic information obtaining unit and drawing personalized information to be provided to a user; an information provision determination unit determining whether it is necessary or not to provide the user with the personalized information drawn by the information analysis unit and whether it is necessary or not to provide the same to an external device; and an information provision unit providing the personalized information to the user when it is necessary to provide the same to the user based on a result determined by the information provision determination unit.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
