The present invention relates to an instant powder for an acorn jelly and a method for preparing the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for preparing an instant powder for an acorn jelly after gelatinizing acorn wet starch by a drum drier, the powders for the acorn jelly prepared through the method, and the acorn jelly prepared by mixing the powder with water. When forming a conventional arcon jelly, a long-time heating process is required to form a gel-phase arcon jelly, the process of forming the arcon jelly is performed for a long time, and too much time and effort are required to solidify the gel-phase arcon and form the arcon jelly. However, when the arcon jelly is formed using the instant powder for the arcon jelly, the arcon jelly may be formed using water having the temperature of 10-70°C. Accordingly, an instant arcon jelly can be simply formed while maintaining the texture of the gel-phase arcon without the heating process requiring long time. In addition, according to the present invention, since the arcon jelly formed using the instant powder for the arcon jelly represents a less dehydration phenomenon as compared to that of the arcon jelly prepared in the conventional technology, so that a user can feel an excellent texture of the arcon jelly.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
