The present invention relates to Cordyceps pruinosa, and more specifically, to a gene coding a regulatory protein suppressing the formation of red pigmentation in Cordyceps pruinosa, and to a Cordyceps pruinosa mutant strain which has the gene knocked out, and thus generates the red pigmentation more readily and continuously.
