The purpose of an intelligent small car determination system of the present invention analyzes a car image by using an intellectual algorithm without applying additional sensors, and very quickly and accurately determines whether a corresponding car is a small car or not depending on the analyzed result. Therefore, an error does not occur due to properties of the sensor, the construction costs are significantly reduced, and maintenance is very simple. The intelligent car determination system comprises: a memory table for dividing size information of a license plate by each type of the license plate, and storing the size information; and a determination unit for detecting an outline of the license plate from a predetermined car image, finding the width (a) and the height (b) of the outline, and determining whether a car is a small car or not based on a ratio of the width to the height of the outline of the license plate and the size information of the license plate for each type of the memory table.
