TARGET-SPECIFIC LIGANDS CONJUGATED STIMULI-RESPONSIVE HYDROGEL NANOPARTICLES CONTAINING MAGNETIC NANOPARTICLES

The present invention relates to a target-specific ligand-conjugated stimuli-responsive hydrogel nanoparticle which contains a magnetic nanoparticle, and more specifically, to a stimuli-responsive hydrogel nanoparticle comprising: a temperature-responsive hydrogel nanoparticle core (11); a magnetic nanoparticle (12) distributed inside the temperature-responsive hydrogel nanoparticle core; a solvent (13) swelling inside the temperature-responsive hydrogel nanoparticle; a shell (14), which is a modified surface of the temperature-responsive hydrogel nanoparticle core; and a target-specific ligand (15) attached to the surface of the shell. The stimuli-responsive hydrogel nanoparticle has a core which has a network structure and is made of tempearture-responsive hydrogel, such that a large amount of any kind of drug dispersed in an aqueous solution can be contained, and by containing magnetic nanoparticles inside temperature-responsive hydrogel, the initiation/termination of stimuli can be instantaneous such that localized control is possible, and the target-specific ligand attached to the surface of the shell of the hydrogel nanoparticle can deliver a drug to specific cancer cells, thereby reducing the risk of side effects and increasing the efficacy of the drug. Therefore, the present invention can be beneficially used as a contrast agent and also a drug carrier.
