The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a multi-functional heat insulation air cap which provides a fundamental heat insulation function through the formation of an air layer, maximizes a heat insulation effect through the incorporation of air with heat insulation property, reduces noises through a dual structure and the incorporation of functional gas for shielding noises, and allows air purification, as well as a heat insulation air cap obtained thereby. According to the present invention, provided is a method for manufacturing a multi-functional heat insulation air cap attached to a window, which comprises the steps of: providing a pair of air cap films having a predetermined width; injecting heat insulation gas between the air cap films; comparting the air cap films to which the heat insulation gas is injected with a predetermined interval along the longitudinal direction or transverse direction thereof; further comparting the air cap films comparted in any one direction of the longitudinal direction or transverse direction along the other direction with a predetermined interval to form air caps; stacking an external film on the air cap films having air caps formed therein; and forming a compartment air layer between the external film and the air cap film adjacent to the external film.
