NICKEL CATALYST CHEMICALLY IMMOBILIZED ON ALUMINA CARRIER, METHOD FOR PREPARING SAME, AND METHOD FOR PREPARING HYDROGEN GAS THROUGH STEAM REFORMING OF LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS USING CATALYST
The present invention relates to a nickel catalyst chemically immobilized on an alumina carrier, a method for preparing the same, and a method for preparing hydrogen gas through steam reforming of liquefied natural gas (LNG) by using the catalyst. More particularly, the present invention relates to a nickel catalyst chemically immobilized on an alumina carrier, a method for preparing the same, and a method for preparing hydrogen gas through steam reforming of LNG by using the catalyst, the nickel catalyst characterized by: being used for preparation of hydrogen gas through steam reforming of LNG; being prepared by imparting a positive charge on the alumina carrier and then allowing an anionic nickel-based complex ion obtained by chelation of a nickel precursor to be bound to the positive charge of the surface of the acid-treated alumina carrier and then drying and plasticizing the resultant; and having an ability to load 5 to 50 wt% of nickel. According to the present invention, the catalyst having improved physical properties and active nickel surface than the nickel catalyst carried by an alumina carrier through the typical impregnation can be prepared so that the present invention can be applied to steam reforming of LNG, thereby efficiently preparing hydrogen gas at high purity for a long time.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
