OUTFIT 3D MPDELING APPARATUS IN AVEVA MARINE DRAFTING ENVIRONMENT AND METHOD FOR OUTFIT 3D MODELING USING THE SAME

The present invention relates to a three dimensional (3D) outfit modeling apparatus in an Aveva Marine (AM) drafting environment and a 3D outfit modeling method using the same. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the method comprises the following steps: recognizing 2D shape information of an inputted outfit when a user inputs an outfit to be modeled in one among a first XY view, a first YZ view and a first XZ view; recognizing 2D coordinates of a first position when the user inputs the first position corresponding to a part of the outfit in the view receiving the outfit; recognizing the 2D coordinates of a second position when the user inputs the second position corresponding to the first position in the views except the view receiving the outfit, and generating 3D coordinates corresponding to the first position of the outfit by using the 2D coordinates of the first and the second positions to generate 3D shape information of the outfit; and outputting the 3D shape information in at least one among the first XY view, the first YZ view and the first XZ view. According to the present invention, since the time needed for update is reduced, updated views after modeling are performed in real time, and thereby the user performs modeling work in real time.
