The present invention relates to a method of evaluating Vickers indentation fracture toughness in a hardener based on a finite element solution which measures a fracture toughness in a hardener with a small number analysis time by utilizing a conventional straight angle formula for a non-hardener proposed by Hyun or the like. To achieve this, the method of evaluating Vickers indentation fracture toughness in a hardener based on the finite element solution comprises: a step of assuming that the hardener is a non-hardener having the same Youngs modulus and Poissons ratio as the hardener, and having a yield strain rate different from that of the hardener; a step of proposing a function formula to obtain a modified yield strain rate of the non-hardener from the yield strain rate, and strain hardening index of the hardener; and a step of evaluating fracture toughness in the hardener from indentation load on the hardener by Vickers indenter and the length of cracking generated in the hardener, using the modified yield strain rate of the non-hardener obtained by the function formula.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
