The present invention relates to a synthesis method of a metal nanowire, a metal nanowire manufactured therethrough, and a transparent electrode and an organic light emitting diode having the same. The manufacturing method of a metal nanowire, according to the present invention, comprises: a step of preparing a reaction mixture where metal salt, a reducing solvent for reducing the metal salt into metal, a capping agent for growing the metal to a wire shape, and a catalyst are mixed; and a step of putting the reaction mixture into a reaction container and reacting the reaction mixture under the condition of 1 to 5 atm to synthesize a nanowire having two or more wire parts and one or more bent parts. Thus, the metal nanowire has excellent electrical conductivity and has proper permeability and a haze value.
