According to the present invention, a communication and control measurement technology is disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a location tracking system for searching for a remote controller and a driving method thereof comprise the following steps of: opening application content for searching for a remote controller to register a unique product number assigned to a remote controller; generating a location notification request signal which requests location information of the remote controller; and converting a location notification response signal, which responds to the location notification request signal, into a beacon signal and displaying a capture spot or a dynamic model, which is detected by the conversion, on an interior modeling drawing for 2D or an interior modeling drawing for 3D, thereby accurately finding out a location of the remote controller which transmits a beacon signal by using the application content for searching for a remote controller mounted in a communication terminal.
