The present invention relates to a kit for predicting the survival period of lung cancer patients, and a method for providing information for predicting the survival period of lung cancer patients, using epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) macromutation. The present invention can accurately and easily detect EGFR macromutation deeply associated with the survival period of lung cancer patients.
