The present invention relates to a glass composition having a refractive index by using a glass cullet as a flux, and to a glass bead having a refractive index by using glass powder for coarsening the glass composition. Specifically, the present invention relates to a glass composition having excellent retroreflectivity with respect to optical properties, and excellent durability, and to a glass bead. The glass bead composition comprises: 10-50 wt% of TiO_2; 10-50 wt% of BaO; 1-30 wt% of a SiO_2-Na_2O-K_2O-BaO-SrO_2-ZrO_2-based CRT Panel glass cullet; 1-30 wt% of a SiO_2-Na_2O-K_2O-PbO-CaO-based CRT Funnel glass cullet; 1-30 wt% of a SiO_2-Al_2O_3-CaO-B_2O_3-based LCD glass cullet; 1-20 wt% of B_2O_3; 0.1-20 wt% of PbO; 0.1-10 wt% of Bi_2O_3; and 0.1-10 wt% of P_2O_5.
