The present invention relates to a method for calculating vertical distribution of the mass concentration of aerosols. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for calculating vertical distribution of the mass concentration or aerosols, enabling quantitative analysis of the vertical distribution of aerosols in the atmosphere. To this end, the method of the present invention comprises the following step: (a) calculating a vertical distribution value for aerosol dissipative coefficient from initial observation data; (b) calculating aerosol optical thickness (LID) and further calculating aerosol optical thickness (SUN) based on the observation by a sunphotometer; (c) calculating an error () from the LID and SUN calculated in the step (b); calculating the value of the vertical distribution value for the aerosol dissipative coefficient; determining an aerosol mass dissipative efficiency; and (f) calculating the vertical distribution of the mass concentration of aerosols.
