The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating obesity, which comprises a complex extract of Saururus chinense, a sulfuric acid and a ground or a complex extract of Saururus chinensis, Ganoderma lucidum, Grasshopper, and Seokchangpo, and a method for preparing the complex extract. The composition containing the complex extract of the present invention can inhibit lipogenesis without the side effects of cytotoxicity, and thus it can be widely used for preventing, ameliorating or treating obesity or obesity-related diseases.
