The present invention relates to a gene marker for detecting a red sea bream iridoviral disease (RSIVD) causative virus which is a causative virus of fishery organism infectious diseases, and to a method for detecting a causative virus by using the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for determining a virus type from a dissolving temperature or detecting infection of the virus type of fish by analyzing a dissolving curve, wherein the dissolving curve is obtained for each temperature by adjusting a temperature of a product obtained by blending peptide nucleic acid (PNA) which specifically recognizes an amplified product obtained by selecting and amplifying a DNA base sequence for coding a particular gene of an RSIV and an infectious spleen and kidney necrosis virus (ISKNV).
