A first aspect of the present invention relates to a B-cell depleting anti-CD20 antibody or CD-binding antibody fragment thereof for the treatment of chronic fatigue syndrome and muscular encephalopathy. More particularly, the present invention relates to the use of an anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody, or fragment thereof, which is preferably humanized to treat said disease from a patient suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome / muscle soreness encephalopathy.
