The present invention relates to a system for removing high-concentration ammonia nitrogen of an effluent of thermal hydrolysis and operation method for removing high-concentration ammonia nitrogen of an effluent of thermal hydrolysis using the same. The system comprises: a thermal hydrolysis effluent storage for storing an effluent obtained by compressing a thermal hydrolysis product of organic waste, and including a first EC measurement unit for measuring electrical conductivity of the effluent; an electric adsorption and removal apparatus connected to the thermal hydrolysis effluent storage, and accommodating an electrode plate, in which a positive electrode and a negative electrode are spaced apart from each other, in an inner space thereof; a concentrate water tank connected to the electric adsorption and removal apparatus, containing concentrate water obtained by concentrating ions desorbed from the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and including a second EC measurement unit for measuring electrical conductivity of the concentrate water; and a controller connected with the first EC measurement unit and the second EC measurement unit, including an operation unit for converting the electrical conductivity value into a concentration of ammonia nitrogen, and differentiating operation conditions according to the concentration of the ammonia nitrogen. The electrical conductivity of the thermal hydrolysis effluent is measured and the electrical conductivity is converted into ammonia nitrogen, and then, if the concentration of the ammonia nitrogen is less than a predetermined level, the effluent is sent immediately to an anaerobic digester without passing through the electric adsorption and removal apparatus, or if the concentration of the ammonia nitrogen is equal to or more than the predetermined level, the voltage at the adsorption is differentiated according to the concentration of the ammonia nitrogen, the current and the time at the desorption are differentiated, and the replacement period is differentiated according to the concentration of the ammonia nitrogen of the concentrate water, so the replacement period of the electrode plate can be extended, the weight reduction rate of remainders can be improved, and the final disposal cost for the remainders can be saved.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
