DUAL-BAND CIRCULAR POLARIZATION ANTENNA AND METHOD FOR DESIGNING SAME

A dual-band circular polarization antenna comprises: a substrate where a ground surface is formed; a circular patch which forms a ring-slot on the substrate, and a cross-slot within the ring-slot; and a feed line having two microstrip lines which are extended from one port and formed at a right angle between the ground surface and the circular patch for orthogonal feeding via coupling. The present invention adjusts geometric parameters of the substrate and the circular patch to tune a first frequency band (L_1) and a second frequency band (L_2) which is different from the first frequency band (L_1). Therefore, an antenna can be miniaturized, and an antenna having desired performance can be designed by adjusting structural parameters.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
