A method for identifying organic compounds by chromatography-mass spectrometry based on the use of gas chromatography methods, electron-ionization mass spectrometry, characterized in that the method of negative electron resonance electron capture mass spectrometry was used to obtain analytical information and three data are used to establish the structure of the compound methods: gas chromatography, electron ionization mass spectrometry and negative ion mass spectrometry resonance capture electrons, is that after the chromatographic separation of substances are ionized by electron ionization with positive ion detection (PI) and / or ionized by electrons having an energy of 0 eV to 15, the registration of negative ions; according to the recorded mass spectra, the probable molecular mass is determined, the gross formulas of the fragmentation ions and isotopic ions included in the molecular structure are determined, and, if necessary, the results are compared with the data of the libraries of positive ion mass spectra (NIST) and the mass library created by the authors - spectra of negative ions containing more than 100 mass spectra of the studied compounds.
