FIELD: machine building.;SUBSTANCE: missile engine casing out of polymer composites with a gas duct contains a thermal erosion-proof coating and a pressure shell. The thermal erosion-proof coating of the gas duct is made out of heat-resistant rubber reinforced by layers of spiral tape turns out of fabric with the skew location of the heat-resistant fibres of the warp and weft. The tape width is 0.5-1.0 of the gas duct ID, and the tape winding pitch is 0.30-0.35 of the tape width. During the missile engine casing manufacturing on a metal mandrel the thermal erosion-proof coating and pressure shell are formed. For the deformation of the thermal erosion-proof coating of the gas duct a fabric out of heat-resistant fibres with a plate out of heat-resistant unvulcanised rubber is duplicated, the tapes with the skew location of fibres of the warp and weft are cut out, and layers of the spiral tape turns are wound.;EFFECT: group of inventions increases the reliability and manufacturability of the missile engine casing.;8 cl, 5 dwg
