FIELD: electrical engineering.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, particularly to benches for acceptance tests of frequency-controlled propulsion motors of electric propulsion system. Test bench comprises synchronous generator connected with screw motor and connected to regenerative frequency converter consisting of rectifier and inverter, the recuperative frequency converter is connected to network board. To ensure energy recuperation to the mains and obtainment of propeller load characteristic of the propulsion motor a control system is used via moment control channel on the shaft of propulsion motor and control channel of regenerative voltage frequency converter.;EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of testing electric propulsion system with frequency-controlled propulsion motor due to reduced losses of active power and provision of propeller load characteristic on the propulsion motor shaft, as well as reducing the amount of mooring testing of electric propulsion system aboard the ship.;1 cl, 1 dwg
