FIELD: mining.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and circuit for detecting and minimizing methane hazard in area of mining face. Method consists in fact that on advance cleaning face is periodically localisation areas, in which a stress concentration (N), using method of passive seismic velocity tomography using seismometers (8) and low-frequency geophones (9). Simultaneously these data are compared with current seismic-acoustic measurements, localizing areas (M) of frequent clicks accompanying cracking of rock mass to advance mine face, with measurements of content of methane and measurements of air flow in this production. At that, points of stress concentration (N) in front of front of mining face are localized by performing active seismic amplitude tomography attenuation-attenuation with due allowance for arrangement of cleaning machine (13) in working face (B), then correlation of above parameters in time and space is performed, and after establishing that coefficient of correlation exceeds certain critical value, perform preventive procedures, minimizing methane hazard. In scheme according to invention to analytical circuit (5) is connected seismic recording system (1), methane measuring system (3), actuating circuit (6), as well as warning signals panel (7). At that, to seismic recording system (1) with at least four seismometers (8), at least four low-frequency geophones (9) and at least two voltage sensors (10) is connected seismic recording system (2) with at least four geophones (11), as well as control circuit arrangement and operation of cleaning machine (4) with sensor location cleaning machine (12).;EFFECT: high efficiency of detection and minimization of methane hazard in area of mining face of mine.;9 cl, 4 dwg
