Disclosed is a method for simulating well events, according to which following steps are carried out: extracting from a database a data set comprising normal well data and abnormal well data; clusterising multiple abnormal data in multiple clusters, separating plurality of clusters into high density cluster and low density cluster, wherein high density cluster is used as a cluster of abnormal data; analysing cluster of abnormal data to define variable data within cluster of abnormal data, indicating a well event, and simulating well event based on analysis of cluster of abnormal data.;EFFECT: technical result is higher accuracy of predicting events in a well.;12 cl, 8 dwg
