FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: invention preferentially refers to method of reducing of tritium hydrogen amount released in nuclear industry during handling of radioactive wastes. Implementing disclosed method involves presence of at least one container containing at least one tritium containing wastes unit, which can contain or release tritium hydrogen in form of gas. Disclosed method is characterised by that container is brought in interaction with mixture containing manganese dioxide (MnO2), mixed with compound containing silver (Ag); then container is brought to interact with at least zeolite.;EFFECT: reduced need in human intervention in process of hydrogen tritium trapping, as well as increased duration of effective hydrogen tritium trapping.;30 cl, 4 dwg
