METHOD FOR HYDROGEOCHEMICAL DETERMINATION OF TIME OF OCCURRENCE OF EARTHQUAKES IN SOUTHERN BAIKAL REGION

FIELD: seismology.;SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict the time of occurrence of earthquake. Character of invention: water is sampled from the bottom of Baikal and two selfpumping boreholes. Concentration of helium in water is analyzed. Graphs showing the changes of concentration of helium are made.
