There are systems and method for automated work sequence detection use is made available in a drilling. The interactions between a user and the borehole use, automatically by means of a graphical user interface (gui) of the borehole surface and the application on a computing device, which can be tracked. The tracked interactions are based on partially by the user via the gui received inputs respect to a process initiated by the user in connection with an activity of a drilling location. The data of the operating sequence are detected on the basis of the tracked interactions. The detected work sequence data are stored in a memory of the computing device.
