An artificial intelligence (AI) system comprises an Object, Value and Sensation System (OSV2) with a chart or scale which assigns groups and values to different objects. The system controls how the AI reacts to objects and the circumstances in which they are encountered. The values or groupings of objects are rearranged according to the frequency with which they are encountered. The AI comprises mechanics that enable it to understand pain and pleasure.
