The present invention relates to a method for calibrating a control device that controls or regulates a technical process that can be described using reaction kinetics equations, especially a method for calibrating or regulating a control device of internal combustion engine exhaust stream post-treatment process, which uses a simulation model to stimulate more reactions at different times and/or occurring in parallel with each other in the simulation model in the form of kinetic equation simulation in the post-treatment process of the exhaust gas, and subsequently, variable equation parameters of the kinetic equation of each reaction of the simulation model are calibrated based on the actual values of the equation parameters obtained by the measurement technology on a test bench.
