摘要

Provided is a wind turbine generator capable of monitoring strain on a blade or tower of a wind turbine with high accuracy. The wind turbine generator includes: a tower which is installed on the ground or the sea and acts as a support column of a generator; a nacelle which is provided on the tower and has the generator embedded therein; and a rotor which is provided at one end of the nacelle and is constituted by a hub and a plurality of blades that convert wind power into rotational energy, in which at least one or more blade among the plurality of blades is provided with a semiconductor strain sensor which detects strain that occurs in the corresponding blade.
