PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fruit-vegetable automatic sorting method suitable particularly for small-sized fruits and vegetables, a fruit-vegetable automatic sorting apparatus, a packing apparatus, a fruit-vegetable sorting packing apparatus, and a fruit-vegetable carrier.SOLUTION: Fruits and vegetables to be sorted are fed into a down-gradient transfer body 2 to make fruits and vegetables automatically move on the transfer body 2, and fruits and vegetables arriving at a predetermined point of the transfer body 2 are taken out one by one and transported by zoning one by one to automatically measure, with a measuring instrument 5, at least shapes and sizes of individual fruits and vegetables under being transported, so that ranks of the fruits and vegetables can be discriminated on the basis of the measurement data to sort out discriminated fruits and vegetables by being fed out sideways in the fruit-vegetable transportation direction by the rank.
