PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thread abrasion testing machine that can stably perform an abrasion test using thread.;SOLUTION: The invention relates to a thread abrasion testing machine 1 for causing thread 3 to slide against a test piece 2 while being in contact therewith and abrading the test piece. The thread abrasion testing machine 1 includes a winding reel 12 capable of winding the thread 3 fed from thread feeding means 4, and a winding drum 13 for guiding the thread 3 from the thread feeding means 4 to the winding reel 12. The outer peripheral surface of the winding drum 13 is in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the winding reel 12. Further, the machine also includes: in a passage where the thread 3 moves from the thread feeding means 4 when wound by the winding reel 12, sample holding means 35 for holding the test piece 2 in a state of being in contact with the thread at a predetermined load; tension adjusting means for adjusting tension of the thread 3 with which the test piece 2 is brought into contact; and contact holding means 24 for pressing the winding reel 12 toward the side of the winding drum 13 and holding the winding reel 12 and the winding drum 13 to be in a state of being in contact with each other.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
