PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pallet stone that has not undergone rounding or chamfering at a corner of an end surface in the longitudinal direction of the pallet stone, and provide a pallet for an escapement mechanism of a watch into which the pallet stone is inserted.;SOLUTION: A pallet 13 for an escapement mechanism of a watch includes: a pallet stone 31 that has not undergone rounding or chamfering at a corner of an end surface in the longitudinal direction of the pallet stone; and a pallet body 13f including holding portions 13c and 13d for holding the pallet stone 31, a pallet core 13a, and a balance cooperating portion 13b. In the pallet body 13f, a pallet stone insertion portion surrounded by the holding portions 13c and 13d and a cavity 45 including a region 47 surrounding the end surface in the longitudinal direction of the pallet stone 31 held by the holding portions 13c and 13d are continuously formed.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
