PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heavy metal removal agent, a method for production of a flocculant for heavy metal removal, and a treatment method for a raw material liquid including heavy metals.;SOLUTION: An objective heavy metal removal agent is a liquid mixture of ferric compounds such as poly(ferric sulfate) and an alkali aqueous solution such as aqueous sodium hydroxide. The hydrogen-ion exponent of the liquid mixture is preferably 8 to 12. A flocculant for heavy metal removal is prepared by blending the ferric compounds such as poly(ferric sulfate) and the alkali aqueous solution such as aqueous sodium hydroxide. The hydrogen-ion exponent at preparation is preferably 8 to 12. A treatment method for a raw material liquid comprises adding a flocculant to the raw material liquid including heavy metals, and precipitating the flocculant to generate a supernatant and a precipitate.
