PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and accurately obtain a resistance component current of a lightning arrester, and to allow deterioration of the lightning arrester to be grasped at an early stage.SOLUTION: A lightning arrester leakage current detection device 30 includes a measurement unit 31, a storage unit 32, a removal unit 33, a waveform adjustment unit 34, a difference detection unit 35, and a current detection unit 36. The measurement unit 31 is configured to measure a total leakage current Io of a lightning arrester 10, and output currents of a reference waveform and a comparison waveform. The storage unit 32 is configured to store the reference waveform, and the removal unit 33 is configured to remove a high-order harmonic wave of the stored reference waveform and comparison waveform. The waveform adjustment unit 34 is configured to perform a waveform adjustment of a phase and an amplitude between the reference waveform and the comparison waveform after the high-order harmonic wave is removed. The difference detection unit 35 is configured to detect a difference between the reference waveform and the comparison waveform after the waveform is adjusted. The current detection unit 36 is configured to detect a resistance component current Ir of the lightning arrester 10 from the difference.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
