PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method capable of effectively manufacturing a primary or secondary amine compound having a (poly)alkylene glycol chain with reducing the waste of raw materials by suppressing amount of unreacted raw materials contained in the resulting composition and a composition containing the primary or secondary amine compound having the (poly)alkylene glycol chain.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing a primary or secondary amine compound having a (poly)alkylene glycol chain, including a process of reacting raw materials containing an unsaturated (poly)alkylene glycol compound, an aminoalkanethiol compound and a persulfate compound with a molar ratio of the aminoalkanethiol compound to the unsaturated (poly)alkylene glycol compound in the raw materials of 0.1 to 3.SELECTED DRAWING: None
