PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for dusting a rice ball with salt capable of attaching salt also to the side faces of a rice ball.;SOLUTION: A device 1 for dusting a rice ball with salt includes: a salt radiation disk 20 for radiating supplied salt SA by rotation from the peripheral part thereof toward an inner peripheral surface 17a of a cylindrical body 17; route changing members 18 and 21 that come into contact with the salt SA radiated from the salt radiation disk 20 into the cylindrical body 17 and change a route of the salt SA into a direction toward a center of the cylindrical body 17; and a rice ball enclosing member 19 that is openable/closable and arranged below the cylindrical body 17 to enclose a rice ball R. The rice ball enclosing member 19 is arranged so as to create a space between the inner inclined plane thereof and the side face of the enclosed rice ball R when closed. The salt SA fallen below the center in the cylindrical body 17 is attached to the top face of the rice ball R, while the salt SA coming down along the inner peripheral surface 17a of the cylindrical body 17 is brought into contact with the inner inclined plane and redirected toward the side face of the rice ball R to be attached to the side face of the rice ball R.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
