PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data browsing control program for facilitating browsing control of information included in document data.SOLUTION: A client 2 includes a first storage unit 32, an authentication information input request unit 42, an acquisition request unit 41, and a superimposition unit 46. The first storage unit 32 stores a content acquired from a management server. When content browsing operation is detected, the client 2 executes a data browsing control program included in the content. Upon execution of the data browsing control program, the authentication information input request unit 42 requests a user to input authentication information. After the authentication information is input, the acquisition request unit 41 transmits a request for acquiring confidential information in accordance with the content, including the input authentication information, to the management server. The management server authenticates the authentication information, and transmits the confidential information to the client 2 when the authentication is successful. The superimposition unit 46 superimposes the acquired confidential information on the content stored in the first storage unit 32, to be displayed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
