PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily locate a monitor camera in image data.;SOLUTION: A camera location assisting device for determining the location of a monitor camera by using image data including a figure indicating the area of a building, acquires the image data, draws the image data in a predetermined area on a screen of display means, acquires, from the drawn image data, information about whether to locate the monitor camera at least within or outside the area of the building, processes the image data according to the information, adjusts, in the predetermined area, the proportion of the size of the area of the building to the size of a margin portion other than the area of the building, and draws again the processed image data in the predetermined area.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
