PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for assessing remnant tensile force of a large number of ground anchors readily at a low cost, for responding to a demand on a device and a method for assessing the remnant tensile force of a large number of ground anchors readily at a low cost because currently functional assessment of anchors has not be performed sufficiently for a large number of ground anchors.;SOLUTION: A device for assessing remnant tensile force of a ground anchor includes an anchorage section embedded inside, a head part of the anchorage section protruding outside, a tensile section connecting the anchorage section with the head part of the anchorage section, and furthermore an anchorage body formed by interposing a bearing plate between the head part of the anchorage section and an outer surface. A through-hole is formed on the bearing plate, through which the tensile section is inserted. An optical fiber cable provided with an FBG optical fiber sensor is placed spirally without a downward or an upward inclination along an inner peripheral surface of the through-hole, and the FBG optical fiber sensor detects a difference in compressive strain of the bearing plate.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
