PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lateral heat-sealing device of a vertical roll type automatic charging and packaging machine which can realize good lateral heat seal, and hence, can produce a packaging bag (product) having a high quality with a relatively simple and inexpensive configuration.SOLUTION: A lateral heat-sealing device of a vertical roll type automatic charging and packaging machine 1 comprising plural lateral heat seal blades 221 to 224 which are detachably attached to respective lateral seal roll bodies 211, which have an appearance shape of linear in a rotary shaft direction and has an arc line in a circumferential direction, and which hold double-folded packaging films, and fuse and bond the packaging films to one another. An attachment face of the lateral seal roll body 211, onto which the lateral heat seal blades 221 to 224 are attached, is formed in a circular arc shape with a rotation center 250 of the lateral seal roll body 211 as a center.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
