PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately manage the quality of an article on the basis of environment information.;SOLUTION: An article management system for controlling a storage device for storing articles includes article information acquisition means for acquiring article information of the articles, environment information acquisition means for acquiring environment information of the articles, storage control means for controlling the storage device, quality determination reference acquisition means for acquiring quality determination reference information of the articles, and quality determination means for determining the quality of the articles on the basis of the article information, the environment information and the quality determination reference information.
