PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surveying management system capable of announcing a fault possibility before a fault occurs.SOLUTION: A total station and a management server device are configured to communicate with each other through a network. The total station comprises: a warning adjustment unit; a fault possibility determination information acquisition unit for acquiring fault possibility determination information; and a control processing unit for causing the fault possibility determination information to be transmitted to the management server device and controlling the warning adjustment unit. The management server device comprises: a discrimination unit for, when receiving the fault possibility determination information, discriminating whether a value thereof exceeds a predetermined discrimination value; and a server control unit for, when it is determined that the fault possibility determination information exceeds the predetermined discrimination value, causing instruction information to be transmitted to the total station.
