PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microorganism culture device including a culture layer in which sufficient visibility to observe a microorganism colony is achieved.SOLUTION: A microorganism culture device 1 comprises: a base material sheet 10; a culture layer 30 which is arranged on an upper surface of the base material sheet 10 and formed to cultivate microorganisms; and a cover film 40 which can cover the culture layer 30. The culture layer 30 includes at least a gelatinizer and a nutrient component. The gelatinizer includes at least a guar gum and a psyllium seed gum. The guar gum pts.wt. in the gelatinizer is greater than the psyllium seed gum pts.wt. in the gelatinizer.
