A CAD information generating system (100) includes: an acquisition unit (111) that acquires drawing information containing information on a section for measurement in a room to be measured; an electronic distance-measuring instrument (LDM) that measures the dimension (the length) of the section for measurement in the room to be measured by using a non-contact technique; a receiver unit (RCV) that wirelessly receives the measured dimension; and a CAD information generating unit (113) that generates, on the basis of the received dimension and the drawing information containing the information on the section for measurement, two-dimensional or three-dimensional CAD information of the measured room with the measured dimension defined therein.
