PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of easily and accurately measuring the oven length of a degraded coke oven and a method of evaluating the degradation of the oven body.SOLUTION: A laser three-dimensional measuring apparatus is disposed at a position separate from one oven port of a carbonization chamber having an opening oven cover. While, a reference object having a predetermined shape such as a sphere is disposed at a position separate from the other oven port by a predetermined distance. The reference object is irradiated with laser from the laser three-dimensional measuring apparatus through the inside of the carbonization chamber, the distance to the reference object is measured as point group data, and the distance from the laser three-dimensional measuring apparatus to the reference object is directly measured.
