PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a three-dimensional model with actually attractive appearance by improving a creation technique of the three-dimensional model formed by aligning transparent thin plates on which tomographic images are printed.SOLUTION: A tomographic image data generation apparatus constructs volume data on the basis of three-dimensional image data including continuous tomographic images captured by an X-ray CT apparatus 200, and generates tomographic data formed by printing images on transparent thin plates using the volume data. A consolidate tomographic image data generation section 105 generates consolidated tomographic image data formed by consolidating a plurality of tomographic images into one as the tomographic data. A volume rendering image data generation section 107 generates volume rendering image data as tomographic image data on the basis of information included in divided volume data. The consolidated tomographic image data and the volume rendering image data have a lot of information compared with mere tomographic images formed by clipping the volume data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
