PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal standard substance for quantitative analysis by powder X-ray diffractometry, capable of simplifying sample pretreatment in ordinary quantitative analysis and having small influence on the analysis even when used for the quantitative analysis of in-situ measurement in a chemical reaction process, and a quantitative analysis method using the internal standard substance.SOLUTION: A tabular internal standard substance for quantitative analyse by powder X-ray diffractometry is preferably one selected from BaCO, TiO(Anatase), PbO, and the like. The quantitative analysis method by powder X-ray diffractometry is a method using the tabular internal standard substance for analysis. An area ratio of the internal standard substance occupied on an X-ray irradiation surface is preferably 7% or more.
