PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete casting method for a mass concrete section that facilitates work at a section with overcrowded reinforcing bar arrangement, by using a pipe body that functions both as a pipe cooling pipe and a separator.SOLUTION: In a concrete casting method for a mass concrete section, a plurality of cooling pipe bodies is installed in a concrete mold, for cooling the mass concrete section after casting. A metallic core material is passed through the pipe body, and chilled water flows through a space formed between an inner peripheral surface of the pipe body and an outer peripheral surface of the core material. The pipe body and the core material also serve as a separator for the concrete mold, thereby facilitating work at a section with overcrowded reinforcing bar arrangement.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
